I am a drugstore makeup girl, all the way. I am not about to go to Dillards and buy a $50 tube of foundation when I know I can get the same thing in slightly less pretty packaging from Target. These are (in my opinion) the best inexpensive drugstore makeup products! And a quick money-saving tip is to buy them from retailers like Target or Walmart as opposed to actual drugstores, because they are usually always less expensive at bigger retailers.
Why They’re Good Products:
Revlon Colorstay Foundation: this is great because you can get it for combo/oily skin or normal/ dry skin. I personally have very oily skin and this is the only foundation I’ve used that keeps my face from getting too oily.
Maybelline Full N Soft Mascara: both the waterproof and the regular mascara are great for making your lashes thick and very natural-looking. The waterproof one doesn’t budge all day.
NYX Brow Pencil: this twist-up pencil is perfect for filling in scarce brows and it lasts for a very long time. The shade I use is taupe and it’s perfect for blondes.
Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer: this is a great product for filling in pores and also keeping oil away. It has a great smooth texture to it and makes your foundation flawless.
Maybelline Better Skin Concealer: love this concealer because it doesn’t make creases throughout the day. It’s great for brightening the under eye area and blends perfectly.
ELF Eyelid Primer: this stuff is very inexpensive, but so good. I get the sheer color, so it’s not lighter than my skin, but blends into it. It keeps eye makeup on all day and helps it not to crease when your eyelids get oily.
Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer: this is a very natural bronzer that will give you just enough of a sunkist glow.
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blush: this blush is great for adding a little pop of color to your cheeks. I love that it has multiple shades to mix together so you can change it up when you want to.
Milani Soft & Sultry Eyeshadow Palette: these colors are always great to have because you can easily wear them for a daytime look and then add some dark shadow to your creases and some shimmery shades for a nighttime look.
Rimmel Kohl Eyeliner: this eyeliner goes on smoothly and lasts all day.
