Life’s little indulgences are important, but sometimes they are expensive. Here are a few ways to save money at Starbucks, so you won’t break the bank!
Ways to Save Money on Popular Starbucks Drinks:
Menu option: Grande White Mocha: $5.14
Cheaper option: Grande hot or iced coffee w/ cream, white mocha, & whip: $3.09- $3.73
Menu option: Grande Caramel Macchiato: $5.14
Cheaper option: Grande vanilla iced or hot coffee w/ cream & caramel drizzle: $3.63
Menu option: Grande Salted Caramel Mocha: $5.36
Cheaper option: Grande coffee w/ half mocha syrup & half toffee nut syrup w/ steamed cream, whip, and caramel drizzle: $4.28 (if you don’t NEED the caramel drizzle, it’s 60 cents cheaper)
Other Inexpensive, Delicious Drinks:
Grande toffee nut caffe misto w/ whole milk: $3.63
Grande hazelnut coffee w/ steamed cream: $2.98
Grande half hazelnut/half vanilla (that makes french vanilla flavor) iced coffee w/ cream: $2.98
Grande caramel iced coffee w/ cream & caramel drizzle $3.63
Things to Note:
Any drink made with espresso (ie: lattes, macchiatos, flat whites) is always more expensive than brewed coffees.
Salted Caramel Mochas and Peppermint Mochas can be ordered all year-round (not just during the holidays).
Adding whip to any drink is completely free.
Adding caramel drizzle to any drink is 60 cents more.
Thick syrups (or sauces) are 60 cents when added to a drink. Regular syrups are 50 cents to add.
You can ask for light ice or no ice on any drink to get more for your money.
If you like heavy milk in your brewed hot or iced coffee you can ask for a Grande in a Venti cup or Tall in a Grande cup, etc. & pay for the smaller size, but get more milk.
