I’ve mentioned this a few times in my Instagram stories, but if you didn’t know, I used to be a Starbucks barista for 3 years in college. Out of all the jobs I’ve had, it was definitely the most fun. Between the endless free coffee, the friendships I made, and just the overall craziness of the job, I really enjoyed my time working there. (And watching drama unfold between coworkers was pretty amusing!)
I learned a lot of tricks and tips while I was there, so if you ever have a question, feel free to send me a message! Today, I wanted to share my favorite Starbucks orders with you. They are fairly simple (mostly cause I learned that the baristas WILL talk about you if you have a complicated order haha)
Warm weather weekly go-to (say that 10 times fast): Venti iced coffee w/ toffee nut, cream, no ice, & no room (hint: if you get it without ice or room, you’re getting more bang for your buck! Just add ice at home)
Cool weather weekly go-to: Grande regular coffee in a venti cup w/ toffee nut or white mocha (or caramel brulee or chesnut praline during Christmas time) w/ steamed cream to the top. Lot’s of people don’t know you can order this way if you like extra cream. It saves you money & is honestly just as good as a latte.
When I have a freebie or deal on espresso beverages (or just wanna treat myself): Iced (light ice) or hot blonde flat white w/ toffee nut (can you tell I’m a fan of the toffee nut?) The flat whites really take the espresso up a notch. They are made with ristretto shots, which are pulled from the machine w/ less water, making the coffee taste more potent. SO GOOD.
